A graduate of the University of Houston's Moore's School of Music, Cecilia brings more than twenty years of serious training and performance to every lesson.
Her teaching blends rigorous technique with the curiosity and delight that first drew her to music - guiding students of every age to discover their own voice and fall in love with their instrument.

My daughter has taken piano lessons from Mrs. Castaneda for almost two years now. Mrs.Castaneda is so patient with her, but she also pushes her to work hard and do her best. I love that I can hear some giggles and laughter during their lessons, but she's also learning so much and making great progress. My daughter is already able to play some really beautiful songs, and I love that she's having fun while learning. We are so thankful for Mrs. Castaneda and the way she makes piano something may daughter looks forward to.
