Music and Wonder is a faith-driven, non-profit children’s choir founded by Cecilia Castaneda, a passionate music educator with over 16 years of teaching experience. What began several years ago in her humble home has blossomed into a growing ministry that nurtures young voices through music, worship, and wonder. As a degreed musician, Cecilia has guided countless students in discovering their God-given musical gifts. Her inspiration to expand this mission grew from a desire to reach even more children—especially those without access to quality music education. Her love for music runs deep in her family: her daughter is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, and her son Levi is a talented young musician who plays drums, saxophone, and trumpet. Music and Wonder continues to grow as a place where children not only learn to sing and perform but also experience the joy of faith, fellowship, and artistic expression.

Music and Wonder began as a quiet dream in the heart of Cecilia Castaneda, a classically trained musician and dedicated educator with over 16 years of experience. What started in her humble home as a way to share the joy of music has grown into a vibrant nonprofit built on faith, artistry, and purpose. Cecilia’s passion for music has never been just about performance—it’s about the beauty of expression, the power of worship, and the wonder that music brings to the soul.

Rooted in Christian, non-denominational values, Music and Wonder exists to inspire hearts and elevate voices through sacred sound. Cecilia’s life is steeped in music: her daughter is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, and her son Levi is a multi-instrumentalist with a gift for rhythm and melody. Surrounded by musical expression and spiritual purpose, Cecilia envisioned something greater—a space where music could be a vessel for worship, connection, and transformation.

Today, Music and Wonder stands as a reflection of that vision: a ministry of praise, beauty, and devotion that continues to grow, inspire, and glorify God through the language of music.
